The Charleston WV Police Athletic/Activities League, Inc. (Charleston PAL) mission is to prevent juvenile crime and violence by building relationships among kids, cops, and community through positive engagement. As organization we work with at risk and high-risk youth ages 5 - 18 years old. Our goals are to  increase social-emotional skill development, positive classroom behavior, school attendance, high school graduation rates. Our program focuses on preventing juvenile crime and violence by providing structured out of school time initiatives such as educational, civic,  recreational, mentoring, and athletic opportunities.
